Code Massar — where to find it and how to use it
Everything you need to know about the Massar identifier: its shape, its official source, how it's used for login and account recovery, and what to do if you forget it.
What is Code Massar?
Code Massar is the unique digital identifier given to each student (and each user) inside Morocco's Massar platform. It works like the student's "national number" within the system: it ties all school data — registration, grades, absences, orientation — into a single file.
The code is used as the username for login and is requested during password recovery. Keep it somewhere safe and never share it with people you don't trust.
What does it look like?
- One Latin letter at the start (may vary by the year the file was created).
- Followed by digits (usually 9).
- No spaces or special characters.
- As a student username, it's written with @taalim.ma appended.

What if you forgot it?
The only official way to recover your Code Massar is the school administration: go there with a document proving your identity (the parent's national ID or the registration document) and ask for the code. There's no self-service recovery for the code itself.
If you have the code but forgot your password, that's a different problem — see the password recovery guide.
