Massar Registration 2026 — Guide to Enrolling in Massar
The different school enrollment scenarios in Morocco and how they relate to the Massar platform, the required documents, and what to know before going to the school.
Note: not all registration happens online. Some cases start with a digital request and others are completed on paper at the school. This guide explains the scenarios as they happen in practice — the school is the official reference for specific procedures.
What role does Massar play in registration?
The Massar platform is the central database for every student's school record in Morocco. When a student is enrolled (on paper or digitally), the administration creates or updates their file, resulting in a Code Massar that stays with them for their whole school career and is used to sign in to the Moutamadris portal.
The Ministry also offers a digital pre-registration service (Préinscription) — explained in the Massar pre-registration guide.
Registration scenarios
🏫 First enrollment in primary school
- Go to the primary school for your family's geographic district.
- Submit the documents: birth certificate, photos, vaccination booklet.
- The administration creates the file in Massar and hands over account credentials later.
📚 Moving from primary to middle school
- Primary-school orientation determines the middle school (general/technical/vocational).
- Submit the pass and promotion certificate plus civil-status documents at the middle school.
- The student keeps the same Code Massar — no new account needed.
🎓 Moving from middle to high school
- Fill orientation wishes through Moutamadris at the end of middle school.
- The student is admitted to a school/stream per the result and the wishes.
- Complete enrollment at the admitted school with the required documents.
🔁 Changing schools or transferring
- A school certificate or transfer document from the original school.
- Enrollment at the new school within its capacity.
- The administration updates the file's link in the Massar platform.
