What is the pre-registration service?

The Massar pre-registration service (Préinscription) is a digital service letting families submit a preliminary enrollment request for their children online, instead of queuing for long hours at schools. You enter the student's basic details, and the requests are then processed by the administration.

Note: pre-registration is not final registration — the seat is only confirmed by completing the procedure at the school with the required documents.

Pre-registration steps

  1. 1

Follow the official announcement opening the service for the current year (Ministry site or school).

  2. 2

Open the official service portal at massarservice.men.gov.ma.

  3. 3

Fill in the required details: student information, level, requested school, parent's details.

  4. 4

Double-check every entry before submitting (names exactly as on the birth certificate).

  5. 5

Save the receipt/request number if one is provided after submission.

  6. 6

Wait, then complete final registration at the school with documents when the request is accepted.

Important warnings

  • Make sure names match the civil-registry document exactly — errors cause problems later.
  • The pre-registration service is free — never pay any intermediary.
  • Only enter data on the official portal; beware of copycat sites when the service is announced.
  • If the request isn't accepted, contact the school to learn about available alternatives.
